International mobility for Masters 1: immersion in the heart of a European vineyard

From next year, students at Master 1 participate in a international mobility trip within a European vineyard.

The objectives of this immersion are to

  • discover the economic and cultural reality of a foreign wine-growing region,

  • Understand the challenges of producing, marketing and exporting to a European market,

  • compare theoretical lessons with international field experience,

  • develop a global and operational vision of the sector.

This international mobility is fully in line with the ISV's educational project: to train professionals capable of moving quickly in an international context.

Internships and work experience abroad

The ISV actively encourages and supports work placements abroad, These are real career accelerators in the wine and spirits industry.

Each student benefits from personalised support:

  • help in defining the international project,

  • translation and adaptation of CVs and covering letters in English,

  • support with administrative procedures,

  • mobilising the ISV's network of partners.

Every year, students undertake placements in a wide range of countries: United States, Argentina, South Africa, New Zealand, Vietnam, and many other key markets in the sector.

The assignments cover a wide range of positions: export sales development, international marketing, market prospecting, customer portfolio management, international brand communication.

English, a key professional skill

At ISV, mastering professional English is a priority:

WSET certifications included

ISV training courses include training leading to internationally recognised certifications :

  • WSET level 1 Spirits - included in Bachelor

  • WSET level 2 Wines - included in Master 1
