The group was welcomed to the Art en Cave cooperative winery, a unique place where art and wine meet. The students were able to discover how contemporary artists work in partnership with the winery to create labels for original works of art, giving life to vintages that are as expressive visually as they are in terms of taste.
Tasting, teaching and sensory analysis
The educational visit continued with a guided tasting of several wines from the Saint-Chinian appellation. It was an excellent opportunity to explore the concepts of typicity, aromatic balance and terroir, while developing the students' sensory and analytical skills.
Under the guidance of the Institut Supérieur du Vin team, participants were able to compare their perceptions, discuss local oenological practices and deepen their understanding of wine marketing and wine tourism.
