Bachelor in Wine Business and Marketing

RECOGNISED AS A LEVEL III CERTIFICATION IN FRANCE

The objective of the “Wine Business and Marketing” Bachelor’s degree is to train specialists in managerial and commercial functions in the wine and spirits industry. It offers a comprehensive program, which takes into account the demands of industry professionals in terms of marketing, management and communication.

In order to be closer to the reality of the professional world, our business school offers an innovative teaching method, alternating between taught modules and professional testimonies.

By the end of this course, the graduate will also have acquired the technical knowledge relating to viticulture, oenology, wine tasting and wine waiting.

This program is aimed at young people who are motivated by sales professions, and who are looking towards marketing positions within the wine-making sector, wine merchants, mass-marketing, trade shows, cyber commerce and more.

The first part takes place at the Institute and alternates between taught modules, seminars and professional guest speakers.

INTERNSHIP : FROM JANUARY TO MAY

The second part is devoted to an internship in the wine sector. The minimum period of internship is at least 5 months. The salary is awarded according to the relevant French legislation. Students will meet at the Institute a couple of times, so as to receive support and advice from Professors regarding both the work placement and the writing of the internship report.

WRITING OF AN INTERNSHIP REPORT

The final part consists of the writing of the final dissertation, (in continuation with the work experience placement) and the preparation of a presentation.

Entry Requirements
Bachelor in Wine Business and Marketing

Targeted public

Access to the Bachelor’s degree requires high school diploma or a diploma that is the equivalent of two years of higher education in the following disciplines :

  • BTS (equivalent of HND in the United Kingdom and American Associates Degree) in Management of Commercial Units, Negotiation and Customer Relations or International Trade
  • BTS in Wine, Spirit and Drinks Technology or Viticulture-Oenology
  • DUT (Equivalent of British HND and American Associates Degree) in Marketing Techniques
  • Holder of HND/Associates degree in Economic Science, Social and Economic Administration etc.

Access to this course is also available for employees in the context of an individual training leave or professional retraining.

Terms of access to the course

 

This program is directed at candidates who have a true passion for wine and who would like to one day invest in the development of sales in the wine sector. Access to the program is limited to 18 people, as such a selection is based upon a strong application form and the success in the following exams :

 

  • English Language Test (Written)
  • General Knowledge (Written)
  • Motivational Interview

Validation of the course

The students are subject to continuous assessment throughout the course. The acquisition of the Bachelor’s degree depends on the results of the final exam and on an oral exam concerning their internship, which is conducted in front of a jury of professionals.

Registration and selection fees are €50.
We also offer the possibility of payment in the form of monthly installments, without additional fees.
Cash payment offers a 200€ rebate on tuition fees.
